With so many apps, business tools, and management websites popping up, it’s hard to know which one is the best fit for you and your business needs. Unfortunately, you often find out months into developing a system that it just isn’t quite working. At that point, it’s either carry on or head back to the drawing board.
While what works for me may not work for you – here are a few of the must-have business apps and tools I would highly recommend:
- Hootsuite app
If you’re not using Hootsuite for your social media management, I would suggest you take a look at it! You can schedule posts in advance on multiple platforms all from one spot, saving you a lot of time and energy. The app is a great tool to take advantage of as well. The free download gives you access to your social media sites all at once. If someone replies, shares, or favorites your posts, you can receive real-time notifications and stay in the conversation. Also, if you’re out at a networking event or business meeting, you can share a photo with your network in seconds.
Canva is a FREE website where you can create, export, and manage all of your graphic needs. With templates for a variety of projects, you can easily create anything from business cards to infographics.

It also keeps your inbox clean! In Asana, you have your own “inbox” that keeps you informed on progress, questions, file sharing, and notes from your coworkers.
